The SafeSmile Survey™ (S³) is the first patient safety culture survey designed specifically for dental practices. Through this structured evaluation, we identify strengths and gaps in your team’s approach to patient safety. Based on the results, we provide a tailored safety strategy and customized action plan designed to elevate your safety standards and integrate best practices into daily operations. CUSPID Institute™ provides in-person training sessions at dental offices, customized to the needs of the practice. These workshops include team-based safety culture assessments, hands-on implementation of safety checklists, and interactive sessions to build leadership in patient safety.

How It Works:

  • A confidential questionnaire is sent to all staff members to assess perceptions of patient safety, communication, leadership, and systems-based thinking. This anonymous format encourages candid feedback, providing deeper insights into real challenges and opportunities within the practice.

  • Responses from the dental team are carefully assessed to identify key patterns, strengths, and gaps in the practice's safety culture.

  • In a live (virtual or in-person) session, your team will receive a customized training developed from the survey results. This training is designed to address existing challenges and build a lasting culture of patient safety tailored specifically to your practice.
